Hi my name is Robert Malcolm Sanders I was born on the 17.3.54 at St Martins Hospital, Bath. My mothers name at the time of my birth was Betty Ann Archibald she was unmarried and aged 20 at the time, because of this after the birth my mother and myself were moved to The Hostel for Women & Girls & Babies Hillview, 12 Walcot Parade, Bath. Does any one know an Edward Langridge, known as Eddie? Eddie lived in the Cricklewood area of North London in the 1960s, and knew a Marion Page of Hatch End. Marion had a son, Paul Freeman Page, on 23rd August 1964, and Eddie had irregular contact with his son for the first 6 years. We think Eddie moved to Bungay in Norfolk. He was employed as a chauffeur. Paul remembers that Eddie drove a Zephyr. We would love to find Eddie, and reunite him with Paul, and also introduce him to his two granddaughters. This message is in regards to my grandfather. I incorrectly stated that his name was Frederick Hamilton Brooks. My mother tells me that his last name is Brook, not Brooks. He was living in New Market England, Suffolk County. Once married to Peggy (Stimpson) Brook. I believe him to be in his 70's. Peggy came to the United States after the marriage dissolved during World War II. He had two daughters Jacqueline Ann and Geraldine Valerie. Their home address at the time was 84 Rutledge. Peggy had a sister named Barbara and brother named Claude Stimpson. Claude was married to Ivy and they had two sons who were named Gordon and Nigel. There may possible be other siblings. Peggy had a next door neighbor by the name of Lillian Harwood. Lillian had a daughter named Rhoda. He left three children behind, one of which is my mother -she was 4 when he died and knows very little about him. His wife never talked about him, it was too upsetting. However, during the war Albert's wife stored a lot of photographs and personal belongings with a friend for good keeping. They had no contact for years and when Albert's wife returned after the war to collect her belongings, they had been disposed of. The friend had assumed that she had been killed during the war, after all, there had been no contact for years Albert did have brothers and sisters, Marget, Louis, Thomas, Nellie, Alfred and William. My Aunt Rosemary Hilda Joy GRANT (known as Joy) married CHRISTOPHER HOWARTH (could be HOWARD) in 1946 at The Rock, Berry, Lancs. They had 3 children, John, Malcolm and Christopher (Christopher died when he was only a few months old). They were only married for a few years and then split up - Christopher Howarth was left with the children. CH used to be a truck driver in the late 40s. Joy set up a new life with a new partner and had another three children. Over the years I have had contact with the 2nd family of Joys but don't think that they know of the first marriage and children - subject has never been discussed with them. Joy died in 1996. I do believe that Christopher Howarth remarried. Apparently the children of CH tried to find Joy many years ago via the radio but she didn't contact them. In turn I have tried to contact them by radio and by advertising in the paper, but to no avail. If anyone has any info I would love to hear from them. Christopher would now be in his late 70s early 80s I would think and the children about 50 yrs old. Thanks for any help.
